Yesterday I also got to sew for a bit. At church on Sunday, my sweet friend Emily taught us how to make a skirt from a pair of jeans. This interested me because my girl is way tall and way skinny so a good fit is out. So, I took a pair of jeans that were given to me, some fabric and lace out of my stash and set to rippin'! Here is the result:

Not too bad for a totally free skirt! She loves it and can't wait to wear it and I'm planning on making more. Goodwill here I come!

*very* cute, Sheryl! I am impressed! I have thought of making these as well, would love to hear your thoughts on the how and what you learned that might have made it easier!

How are you doing? How is your family? I hope that all are well! We finally moved into the new house!!! YAY! Getting things settled and I have been working on some sewing of my own! So far the dining room curtains are done, currently working on the kitchen window now!

Well, speaking of things I need to get done, our bedroom is still in need of some organization and unpacking...actually doesn't *look* bad, but I know it is, lol :o) Some day I will start blogging a little more again (and also catch up with APOA!), for now keeping up with life! Tons of hugs!!
